JT & The Magnificent Soul

I co-lead this massive big band project with the singer Tamir Grinberg. The band’s repertoire varies from Ray Charles, Count Basie to even Paul Simon and Tamir Grinberg’s original songs. By combining both Israeli and New York based musicians we emphasize our deep passion and respect for the blues!

'TM Street Band' is the brainchild of NYC based Israeli multi-instrumentalist and composer Tal Mashiach. Sporting a unique instrumental frontline of trombone, harmonica, and alto sax, 'TM Street Band' seamlessly weaves a wide array of disparate styles together from gypsy to latin, from old Israeli folklore to funk, jazz and blues.
The band is performing regularly in NYC well known Jazz and world music venues like Nublu, Rockwood Music Hall, Cornelia street Cafe, etc.
